The journey of a water drop

0 / 50 XP
01 — EXPLORE THE IDEA

Water doesn’t disappear. It changes form.

Meet Nada, a little drop in the sea. The sun warms the water, and some of it becomes water vapor in the air. This is called evaporation.

Water cycle: sunlight warms the sea, vapor rises, clouds form, and rain falls back to Earth
1. Evaporation2. Condensation3. Precipitation

As water vapor cools, it condenses into tiny droplets that form clouds. When droplets grow heavy enough, they fall as rain. Then the journey begins again!

02 — YOUR TURN1 / 2

Choose one answer. Take your time; mistakes are part of learning.

What helps seawater turn into water vapor?

When water vapor cools into tiny drops, what is it called?
